Subhadeep Mahanta · Founder & Sports Business Strategist

A lifelong ambition, turned into practical work.

Subhadeep's ambition to contribute to Indian football began in college in 2011, driven by a belief that India can one day qualify for and compete to win the FIFA World Cup. He chose sports management as his route to creating meaningful impact in the game.

Slide Tackle was founded to help close a persistent development gap: talented Indian footballers often have limited access to stronger football cultures, higher-intensity competition and advanced development systems. The company is being built to create credible international pathways and make progress towards professional football clearer and more measurable.

The wider vision includes using technology, gamified training and performance tracking to motivate consistent development and help promising players become visible beyond conventional scouting networks. The long-term goal is to build a football academy and, eventually, a football club founded on high-quality development, meaningful competition, measurable progress and genuine pathways.
